Top Tools Apps Performance in Italy, Q4 2024

In the fourth quarter of 2024, the performance of top tools apps in Italy showcased varied trends in downloads and active users, according to data from Sensor Tower. Here's a closer look at the top five applications:

All Document Tools from P & L Studio saw its weekly downloads start at approximately 55K, peaking at 78K mid-October, before tapering to around 17K by the end of December. Active users increased significantly, beginning at 79.6K and reaching an impressive 491.7K at the quarter's close.

CieID, developed by Istituto Poligrafico e Zecca dello Stato S.p.A., maintained consistent weekly downloads, starting at 81K and experiencing a peak of 96K in early December. The app's active user base fluctuated, with a notable increase to 1.65M in early December before settling at around 1.09M.

PDF Viewer＆Scanner by Emily Yu showed a remarkable rise in weekly downloads from 10K to approximately 88K in mid-December. Active users increased from 159K to a high of 322K, followed by a slight decline towards the end of the quarter.

Samsung Smart Switch Mobile experienced steady weekly downloads, with numbers ranging from 39K to 90K. Active users remained relatively stable, peaking at 350K in late December.

Lastly, QR & Barcode Scanner by Gamma Play reported weekly downloads starting at 39K, with a peak of 44K in mid-December. Active users remained strong, consistently hovering around 1.9M throughout the quarter.
